Drivers urged to 'take care'

Prudential Car Insurance Group are urging motorists to drive carefully over the coming winter months. Last November car insurance claims increased 13% from the previous month and with the recent time change and worse conditions on the roads, they are urging that motorists allow themselves a little more time for their journey.

In addition they have also encouraged drivers to consider getting some sort of breakdown cover. Some insurance companies include this as a 'perk' in your insurance policy, although most do not and according to a survey by Prudential 16 per cent of motorists admit to having no breakdown cover, although 72 per cent of motorists say they have broken down.
