Full no claims bonus

This is usually 4 years without a claim (although it can be regarded by some insurers as five). After this period the policy is not further discounted staying as it were as if the policy owner had just four years without claims. An accident will however will normally reduce a full no claims bonus to zero and it will have to be built up again. See protected no claims bonus. Due to the ambiguity of the phrase it is better to say the number of years no claims that you have has rather than using the phrase 'full'.
