Young people's insurance will be out of reach
According to CIS (Co-operative Insurance), because young
drivers under 25 are involved in accidents resulting in fatalities
or serious injury every day in the UK, young people may find that
insurance becomes more and more out of reach if nothing is done to
stop the number of deaths. Young people may find that it becomes impossible
to afford insurance and this will result in a larger number of uninsured
drivers on the road, which is bad news for everyone.
CIS and Brake the road safety charity have recently
launched an educational resource pack aimed at the classroom entitled
'Too young to die".
