Eeasybrokers Car Insurance ScamThe financial services authority has warned car owners that they may have been duped into buying bogus car insurance from a company calling itself Eeasybrokers or Double Easy Brokers. The company which has now closed down, illegally sold insurance through it's website www.eeasybrokers.co.uk and claimed an affiliation with Zurich insurance. The FSA have stated that the site was designed to give the impression that it was linked to the Easymoney brand owned by EasyJet founder Sir Stelios Haji-Iaonnou. Easymoney had tipped off the FSA fearing that the fake insurer would damage their popular insurance brand. The FSA have told anyone who feels they may have bought insurance from this company to contact them. |
